EKKLESIA IN THE MARKETPLACE

CAN WORK BE SPIRITUAL?

Most of the heroes of the Bible spent a lot of their time doing what appears at first to be “secular.” For example, David was a shepherd, a warrior, and a king. Daniel served kings. Joseph was a prisoner and Pharaoh’s right-hand man.

If you have a passion for your gifts or craft, and are trying to reconcile work with worship, be encouraged! Your work can be the most spiritual act of worship you can offer to the Lord!

EKKLESIA IN EDUCATION

CAN A SCHOOL BECOME A CHURCH?

It may seem almost impossible to lead our children in public schools to Christ without being able to use a Bible or pray for them. However, when we truly believe He is the supreme ruler of the heavens and the earth and we call out to Him, He will take the case. What He’s listening for are our faith-filled, fervent prayers!

EKKLESIA IN THE GOVERNMENT

HOW DO WE PRAY FOR OUR GOVERNMENT?

The key to seeing transformation in our government is found in combining Scriptural prayer with Spirit-led actions. Prayers alone won’t do it. Neither would actions without prayers that are Scripturally empowered. Both are needed in the same way that faith without works is dead. We need both prayer and action to see a shift in our government and salvation for our leaders!
